It’s been a busy 30 days since our last newsletter. On March 30, we celebrated Doctors Day. Thank you to all who gave a thank you “shout out” to our Kettering Physician Network physicians and advanced practice providers. We had many employees and patients express gratitude to providers who have made a difference in their lives. Check out some of the submissions at the end of this newsletter.
Speaking of thanking and celebrating, as a network, we have a full slate of activities and events planned throughout Kettering Health Network for Hospital Week, May 13-17. Our planned events are designed to create an opportunity to say thank you, to recognize and celebrate the work we do every day, and to have fun.
Our Kettering Physician Network practices that are located on hospital campuses are encouraged to participate in the hospital campus food events. Those locations not on a hospital campus will receive food deliveries. We will send out the full schedule of events as Hospital Week nears. Additionally, you will hear more about raffle drawings, trivia contests, and community business discounts. I’m looking forward to celebrating our team. Stay tuned for more details.
May 13 also kicks off our employee and provider engagement surveys. This year, the physician and APP survey will take place during the same time frame as our employee survey. Both surveys are administered through the Advisory Board. However, the physician and APP survey questions are tailored more specifically to providers. Your participation and honest feedback are incredibly important. Each year we read every comment and suggestion from the survey and make changes to improve our workplace. Feedback from last year’s survey led us to make many enhancements, including Kettering Physician Network medical assistant certification and renewal reimbursement, improvements to the provider onboarding experience, and enhancements to our Network Stars recognition program. Please take a few moments to share your thoughts and opinions on this year’s survey. Both the provider and the employee survey will be open from May 13-28. Thank you for your dedication to our patients and community.
