We have a lot of great news and employee recognition to share in this month’s newsletter. We also have our 3rd quarter Town Hall meeting this month. As a reminder, we hold a live meeting at Austin Landing, which we video record and post to HealthStream so that all of our Kettering Physician Network practices may view it at their convenience.
In the last several weeks, we received more great PCMH news. The following Kettering Physician Network Primary Care practices were recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for achieving NCQA PCMH Recognition Level 3: Commons, Far Hills Medicine and Podiatry, Franklin Medical Group, Greystone, Huber Heights, Miamisburg – Byers, and Ollie Davis. This is wonderful news and we want to congratulate all who contributed to this fantastic accomplishment.
On September 6, we are celebrating our network employees at our annual Evening with the Stars event. We have 126 Kettering Physician Network employees being recognized for years of service as well as additional accomplishments. I want to give a special shout out to our team members who are celebrating milestone years of service. Congratulations to Debra Choate, who is being recognized for 25 years of service, as well as Barbara Haney, Susan Hickey, Katy Tracy, and Michele Wise, who are all being honored for 20 years of service. I also want to recognize Doris Jones and Tom Albrecht who will be honored as Living the Mission award recipients, as well as Vicki Silcox who will be recognized as Kettering Physician Network’s Leader’s Choice Award recipient. Vicki was chosen for this special award because she exemplifies our values and shows what it means to be called to care. I look forward to celebrating with many from our team at this special event.
