Living the Values Award Winner – Julie Klein

Read Time: 1 min

Congratulations to Julie Klein, who won a Living the Values Award! This award honors those who bring the network’s mission to life, demonstrating the sacred work of improving the quality of life for people in the communities we serve. They use their own time and resources to transform lives.

Julie works in Registration at Preble County Medical Center, and you can read her nomination story below:

I was walking my patient back for a procedure in the X-ray department and Julie saw my patient. She said hello and then told my patient, “I have something for you.” She proceeded to hand the patient a wallet. I thought that was such a kind gesture. The patient hugged and thanked her. The patient then explained to me after we got back to our room that she was carrying her items in an envelope that you send mail in. Julie told her next time she saw her that “I will have something for you.” I think that is a very caring gesture shared with kindness that cannot be taught.
