In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our Breast Health team is hosting an event focused on the importance of receiving annual mammograms—and having fun with the community. On October 25 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., there will be a free showing of the romantic comedy “Mamma Mia!” at The Plaza Theatre.
While the goal of the event is to highlight how preventative screenings lead to early detection and often better outcomes, it also offers a chance for the community to come together and watch a classic film.
Before the movie begins, guests can find information about breast health, resources on early detection and screenings, and enter to win a giveaway prize.
Event attendees are encouraged to dress as characters from the movie or wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Due to limited seating (maximum occupancy: 200), registration is required. Click here to RSVP for the event.
