Kettering Health Network Middletown celebrated the expansion of its women’s health services, which now includes mammography services.
The center features a new Kettering Breast Evaluation Center, offering patients a relaxing environment featuring 3D mammography technology. It includes a 49-inch flat panel monitor designed to reduce anxiety and increase comfort, and also features patient-assisted compression, which allows women to take an active role in their mammogram. During a mammogram, patients can watch a series of images from nature and listen to relaxing sounds while a scent diffuser infuses the aim with a calming fragrance.
