Masks for Behavioral Health Patients – Updated

In our ongoing efforts to protect our patients and staff, the following will be implemented for any behavioral health patients:

  • Masks will be given to behavioral health patients for wearing in common areas.
  • For safety precautions, patient will be required to store their mask in a paper bag when entering their room.
  • When available, a cloth mask without a metal nose guard will be provided.
  • Masks provided to any behavioral health patient that have metal nose guards will have the internal metal removed and discarded to prevent potential use for self-harm.
