The Living the Mission Award is given to people who bring Kettering Health’s mission to life, demonstrating the sacred work of improving the quality of life for people in the communities we serve. They use their own time and resources to transform lives, whether that’s in one of our facilities or out in the community.

“Megan saw a great need to support the mothers of NICU babies. There is little to no support available for these women who, day after day, face the fear and stress of having their baby in the NICU. Megan recruited two prior NICU mothers and banded together to start ‘Karing For You,’ a NICU support group for mothers who all too often face some of the hardest days of their lives without support from someone who has been there before. We are blessed to have Megan and her huge heart for others. Her actions support the mental health and resilience of our NICU mothers, which will impact the lifelong outcomes for our smallest patients.”
