Molly Herbenick Named Kettering Medical Center’s January Employee of the Month

Read Time: 1 min

Congratulations to Molly Herbenick, who was named Kettering Medical Center’s January Employee of the Month. Molly works in the Medical Rehab Unit.

The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Molly was nominated by a co-worker, and you can read the nomination story below:

“Molly truly cares for her patients and their return to every day activities, even after they are discharged from the hospital. She shows genuine concern for her patients’ quality of life and does her best to help improve it. Molly currently has a patient who is unable to pay for the necessary equipment (wheelchair and tub bench) that will allow her to be as independent as possible when she returns home. Molly called around to multiple churches and stores to check their inventory, and was able to find the needed items. Molly then drove around the Dayton area, after work, to pick the items up for the patient.

Molly looks out for the best interest of others. Her caring nature and willingness to go the extra mile make her patients and coworkers truly enjoy being around her.”
