National Police Week

Read Time: 1 min

National Police Week took place May 12 to May 18. May 15 was National Peace Officer Memorial Day.

“It’s a week intended to recognize all police officers across the country who are actively serving and to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives to protect others,” stated Kettering Health Network Chief of Police and Director Chad DePew. “During this week, I want to make sure all of our police and security officers know how much we appreciate you serving our hospitals, patients, and fellow employees. We appreciate your willingness to put on the uniform and patrol our campuses. Your acts of kindness, bravery, and compassion do not go unnoticed, and each of you epitomizes what it means to serve in a Christ-like manner. I’m proud to say I’m a member of the Kettering Health Network Police and Security Department because of each of you.”
