Network Celebrates Holiday Season

Read Time: 1 min

Community members and network employees celebrated the holiday season at events throughout November and December.

The festive fun kicked off at the Winter Market and Tree Lighting Ceremony at Austin Landing, sponsored by Kettering Physician Network. Attendees shopped at a holiday market and visited with Santa and other holiday characters before the tree lighting ceremony. The night ended with a special screening of “The Polar Express.”

Greene Memorial Hospital, Southview Medical Center, and Soin Medical Center all hosted tree lightings on their campuses. In addition to lighting the hospitals’ trees, the events included a nativity with actors and live animals. People also enjoyed a health fair and hot chocolate and cookies.

Southview Medical Center also sponsored a night at Woodland Lights at the Washington Township Recreation Center. People could stop by Southview’s tent for holiday treats and health information while walking the half-mile wooded path of holiday lights.

Grandview Medical Center hosted Cookies with Santa. In addition to enjoying holiday treats and visiting with Santa, people could also write letters to the North Pole.
