Kettering Health Network is launching the new MyChart Bedside app starting on February 23 at Kettering Medical Center, and will be available for other facilities in the coming months:

MyChart Bedside includes features that are targeted specifically for an inpatient stay, optimizing the patient’s hospital time with easier access to information, education, and communication tools.
Patients will be able to access the app through their own mobile device. MyChart Bedside will start with six different features during the pilot phase. These features are tailored to help the patient during and after their stay.

Your Hospital Stay
This section states the diagnosis for admission and allows the patient to learn more about the health condition.
Medications
The Medications activity shows medications while the patient is admitted. Patients will be able to see what time to expect to take their medication and additional medication information.
Taking Care of You
Patients can see a complete list of members of their treatment team. They can tap on the list to read role descriptions for each person.
Happening Soon
Happening Soon will allow the patient to see medication administration times, surgeries, and appointments.
Education
Education will provide informational articles to help patients understand their diagnosis, procedure, medications, and more. This option can help the patient feel more informed about their care.
Test Results
Test Results will allow the patient to access non-sensitive information about their results in a timely manner.
Loved ones with proxy access will be able to view all above features remotely.
