New Business Manager and Champion for Life at Fort Hamilton

Shout Outs - Deidra Wells crop Deidra Wells is the business manager for Patient Care Services at Fort Hamilton. She is responsible for assisting division leadership with productivity management and capital acquisition, as well as cost savings initiatives.  She is also responsible for the day to day operations of Central Sterile. (picture)

Deidra was the Perioperative business manager at Kettering and Sycamore since 2012. She has an extensive background in health care having worked at Valley Health as a Decision Support analyst and at Carillion Health Systems as a data management consultant. She has a background in LEAN principles and expertise in multiple information systems. Prior to entering health care, she spent five years working for the non-profit public sector. She has an MBA from Shenandoah University with a concentration in Information Systems. She and her 12-year old son, Conner, are very involved in community service.

Chaplain Larry DavisChaplain Larry Davis was named as a Champion for Life by LifeCenter. Larry received this award for the high level of caring and support he has shown to families at Fort Hamilton. In turn, more families have supported organ and tissue donation which has resulted in lives being saved and enhanced through LifeCenter’s donation program.
