Susan Hanshaw, RN, is now the clinical nurse manager for the Emergency Department and ICU at Southview. She has served as interim manager in the Emergency Department since October. Prior to her interim role, she was an RN in Emergency and a staff nurse specialist at Southview.
Before coming to the network, she was an Emergency Department RN at Clinton Memorial Hospital for nine years and staff nurse/charge nurse at Dayton Heart Hospital for over seven years. From 1993-1999 she was a staff/charge nurse in the MICU at Grandview after a short time as an RN on Southview’s Med Surg unit. Sue is working on her BSN from Wright State University.
Susan and her husband, Shawn, have been married for 23 years and have three children, Andrew, Jeremy, and Alison. Susan is also the team manager for two Springboro Schools Destination Imagination groups.
