New Emergency Center Opens in Franklin

Successful first day for newest Kettering Health Emergency Center

Kettering Health Network’s Emergency Center, located in Franklin, opened its doors Monday, February 23, at 5 a.m. The first patient arrived at 6:30 a.m. As of 4 p.m. on opening day, 16 patients had been seen by staff.

The Emergency Center is off I-75 at the Springboro/Franklin exit on State Route 73, next to the southbound 75 entrance ramp. The 12,000-square-foot center has close to 40 employees on staff, including RNs, respiratory therapists, radiology techs, lab techs, and physicians.

More than 600 community members attended a packed Open House on Sunday, February 22, to preview the center. Features include a CT machine, X-ray, and lab.
