New Faces in Network Marketing and KPN

Cheryl Kennison is the facilities marketing manager in the Network Marketing Department. In this newly created position, she is responsible for helping the individual hospitals, emergency centers, multiple free standing facilities, Kettering Physician Network, and healthcare centers with their unique site marketing needs.

Cheryl returns to the network after spending the past four years as marketing director for various facilities within the Florida Hospital division. Previously she was the director of alumni relations at Kettering College. Cheryl and her husband, Brandon, have three young sons.

Claire Newlon is the Kettering Physician Network senior marketing coordinator. Claire has more than 15 years of experience in healthcare marketing. She helped lead marketing efforts at Loma Linda University Medical Center and served as the director of Public Relations and Marketing for Paradise Valley Hospital. For PrimeHealthcare, her role extended to corporate marketing for 13 hospitals in Southern California. Most recently, Claire worked for a hospital within the University of North Carolina health system, where she managed physician group marketing along with marketing several centers of excellence for the hospital.

Claire and her family moved to Ohio in January and her 13-year old son is an 8th grader at Spring Valley Academy.

Karen Drury is now marketing coordinator for Kettering Physician Network (KPN). Karen began her career with the network at KPN over four years ago. Since then her career progressed to include various roles in Business Development, Med Staff, and Network Marketing. Her most recent role was communication specialist in Network Marketing. In this role Karen was responsible for marketing strategic planning and implementation for the Oncology service line. She also provided direct marketing support to Soin and Greene Memorial.

Karen’s advertising knowledge and experience with strategy deployment, physician onboarding, and print and multi-media outlets will provide substantial support to KPN.

Karen holds two bachelor degrees from Wright State University, one in Marketing and one in Management. Karen lives in Beavercreek with her husband and three children and enjoys spending time with her family in her spare time.
