In light of the recent, updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH), fully vaccinated* staff and visitors at our administrative locations, including ASB, CFNE, KHMG (Woodman Drive location), NOCC, Prestige, Kettering College, and Ridgeleigh Terrace, are no longer required to wear masks and practice social distancing, effective immediately. Vaccinated individuals may, however, voluntarily choose to continue wearing masks and practicing social distancing.
To continue to provide a safe workplace, anyone entering those buildings who is unvaccinated must continue to wear masks and socially distance.
In accordance with our core value of being trustworthy, we will be using the honor system as we implement these changes.
We are continuing to review the CDC and ODH guidance related to mask-wearing and social distancing at our hospital campuses, outpatient facilities, and physician offices. In the meantime, current COVID-19 protocols (i.e. mask wearing and social distancing) will remain in place at those locations.
* A person is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the last required dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
