Our people are what make Kettering Health Network great. That’s why we are dedicated to creating a meaningful recognition program—it gives us the opportunity to recognize our outstanding employees and thank them for the work they do each day. We are making some updates to the Network Stars program to help make those experiences even more personal and meaningful.
New Recognition
Through Town Hall shout outs and Hospital Week messages, we learned our employees value a quick and easy way to say thank you. We created a special recognition called a shooting star, where you can share a quick shout-out in 140 characters or less.
New Nomination Site
Shooting Stars and nominations for other awards—Employee of the Month, Living the Mission, and Constellation—will all be collected through a new nomination site. This site was designed to make it easy for you to find the best way to share a story. It’s also connected to UltiPro, giving you the ability to search for any employee in the network and share their story. Just fill out the information in each form and share why you appreciate them so we can recognize the outstanding people you work with. To access the nomination site, click on Network Stars under the HR tab on the intranet.
New Rewards
We are also launching a new reward system, which gives employees the ability to earn points and select the reward that they want. Employees of the Month and Living the Mission award winners will still receive baskets at their award presentations, filled with snacks they can share with their team. In addition, they earn points that can be redeemed in a special online store. Employees can also earn points by accruing three shooting stars. The rewards range from water bottles to t-shirts to wireless speakers, and some can be customized with different colors and logos, all to help you find a reward that’s special to you. The updates will go live August 1, and employees recognized in August will be the first to experience the new online store.
