November Employee of the Month is Kim Donovan

Read Time: 1 min

Kim Donovan, Environmental Services, Greene Memorial Hospital

Kim noticed that one of the student volunteers looked unusually sad when he was reporting to her department for his duty assignments. Kim spoke to his teacher to find out if everything was okay. The teacher told Kim that the student had forgotten his bracelet and it was throwing him off.

Kim took it upon herself to try to find him a new bracelet. She checked the gift shop, and then remembered that Greene Memorial employee Donna Saraga might have something that would work. Donna gave Kim a stretchy bracelet from the United Way Campaign, which Kim gave to the student. This simple gift made a huge difference to that student. He was able to turn his mood around and successfully get through his assignments.
