What is happening?
Microsoft applications, including email services, will be transitioning to the Microsoft Office 365 system beginning in September. Leaders will be notified in affected areas prior to the upgrade taking place.
The upgrade will include migration of all existing email data to the cloud where each person will enjoy a much larger mailbox. The upgrade will also include a transition to the current version of Microsoft Office applications.
Why are we doing this?
These efforts are part of an ongoing upgrade to provide Kettering Health Network staff with modern and reliable technology. By upgrading to the latest technology available from Microsoft, users will have access to updated functionality and improved access via the cloud.
The Office 365 system includes web access to the Office suite of applications that you are familiar with like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote, in addition to new collaboration and sharing tools for documents. Reliability, security, and access from anywhere are a few of the top benefits provided by this upgrade. Expect more information from Information Systems throughout the project.
Where can I learn more?
You can also access learning through HealthStream. Once in HealthStream, click on the Connections tab at the top. There you can find eLearning in the Resources column.
