On March 15, 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic prompted Kettering Health to assume a system-wide restriction on visitors. Almost to the day, two years later, we are pleased to announce that we will open visitation, resuming regular pre-pandemic visitor guidelines in our emergency departments and hospital units on March 16, 2022, at 8 a.m.
Masking will continue to be required for visitors and employees who work in clinical care buildings (hospitals, clinics, therapy offices, etc.).
Please note that visitor restrictions will remain in place for COVID-19 patients (suspected or diagnosed): 1 visitor by appointment, age 12 and up.
Guests visiting behavioral health and outpatient locations will be encouraged to check with the individual provider/facility before visiting.
