Our Attitude Makes All the Difference

At Kettering Health Network, our Called to Care service philosophy invites us to bring our best to every interaction and every decision we make. One of the keys that unlocks our ability to be effective in our interactions and decisions is our attitude. Think about the times you were served well. No doubt the quality of the interaction depended on the attitude of the one helping you. The following is a great message:

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attutide on life.

Attitude to me, is more important than the past, education, money, circumstances, failure, successes, or what other people think-say-do.

It is more important than talent, skill, or appearance.

It will make or break a company, team, church, and home.

The remarkable thing is, we have a choice every day to choose our attitude.

We cannot change the past or control present events.

We cannot change the fact that others may act in a certain way.

We cannot change the inevitable.

The only thing we can do is play the one ‘string’ we have–and that is our attitude.

I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

We are in charge of our attitude.”
