Patients at Kettering Infusion Center Get Gift of Comfort

Read Time: 1 min

On July 12, Subaru worked with Kettering Health Network and the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society to provide blankets and notes of encouragement to cancer patients at the infusion center at Kettering Medical Center.

Subaru Loves to Care 2

Representatives from Subaru and Kettering Medical Center were both at the event, where they presented the first blanket to a patient. The patient thanked them for the gift of warmth and comfort, saying that if you put everything in God’s hands, then God’s hands are in everything.

Brad Hamilton, a general manager from Subaru, said he loves to give the patients something to keep them warm through their difficult journey. He also feels a special connection with Kettering Medical Center. “My father fought cancer here at Kettering,” he said. “I was born here at Kettering Medical Center, as was my son, so this place holds a special place in my heart.”
