To help ensure that patients always have access to their most up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination information in MyChart and can include it when they generate vaccination credentials, we’ve added several new options for getting vaccination data into the patient’s chart.
Patients can query state and local registries to find vaccinations that were received outside of your organization and have the information automatically reconciled into their charts without intervention from clinic staff, as long as all of the required information is included.
In cases where some vaccination information is available from the registry but it can’t be auto-reconciled, patients can confirm whether they’ve received the vaccination and reconcile it or discard it.
In addition to producing a more complete record with minimal involvement from clinical staff, this functionality should help better prepare you with more accurate records to target patients in need of additional shots in the future. [Screenshot included below]
