Greene Memorial and Soin employees have the opportunity to help a fellow co-worker in need through the EGS (Employees Giving Support) Fund. This fund provides financial relief to a staff member who faces an unforeseen catastrophic circumstance like family death, natural disaster, or health crisis. Approved applicants receive assistance within 24 hours.
“Every month, if not every week, one of our families at Greene and Soin—among 1,200 staff—faces that unforeseen circumstance which knocks them back or even sweeps them off their feet,” says Jeff Brock, president, Greene Medical Foundation. “Our EGS Fund is ready to help those with such need, and it’s only possible because of the generosity of so many on our team. The EGS Fund is our opportunity to rally together and assure that resources are available when someone in our family needs us.”
