The following items, while under allocation and requiring judicious use, will be stocked per par levels to clinical unit par stock locations:
- Exam Gloves
- Gowns
- Sani-wipes (purple top)*
- Alcohol Gel* – EVS fills wall mounted dispensers
The items below will be provided as follows:
Masks With and Without Shields
- Distributed to clinical unit supervisors by the box upon request made to Materials Distribution.
- Tracking is expected by requesting units for most judicious use.
- Use glasses and mask without shield instead of mask with shield.
Safety Glasses
- Distributed to units upon request to Materials Distribution.
- Glasses are reusable and should be cleaned using a sani-cloth between uses.
- Glasses are also provided in the “Go Bag” and are to be used only as directed and are reusable as well.
N-95 Mask
- Product ONLY included in the Emergency Intubation Bags (Go Bags) for specific use.
- Mask is reusable unless visibly soiled.
- Used mask to stay associated with user and placed in a paper bag with user’s name written on it between uses.
- Replacement “Go Bags” to be requested from Materials Distribution.
Isolation Carts
- Stocked with disposable gowns at all locations.
- Additionally, reusable yellow cloth gowns will be stocked in isolation carts at Kettering only to mitigate use.
*This item is in high demand and limited supply so judicious use is called for.
