Randi Quale Named Kettering College’s January Employee of the Month

Read Time: 2 mins

Congratulations to Randi Quale for being recognized as Kettering College’s January Employee of the Month! Randi works in the college’s Science and Math Department.

The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Randi was nominated by a fellow employee, and you can read the nomination story below:

Randi Quale has gone above and beyond in her efforts to ensure that not only are the institutional outcomes being assessed on a regular basis as chair of the Assessment and Accreditation committee but has also taken on the additional gargantuan task of ensuring the Higher Learning Commission Assurance Review is being completed in a timely manner. Her focus on detail, with the ability to also see the “big picture,” indicates she is able to operate at all levels. Her dedication to seeing through on “a job well done” and in a timely manner ensures that the resulting reports are produced when they should be and with a quality that is first rate. And while it takes a significant amount of coordinating the dozens of people who are involved on this task, we never have to worry that the work that needs to be done actually gets done without the minutest piece of data being lost.

Additionally, Randi oversees the revision of the Academic Bulletin which in itself could be a full-time job. Through working with a host of other contributors, she is able to bring the disparate parts together in a timely manner so that a professional looking bulletin is produced and is representative of the college. And if this is not enough to keep her busy, Randi and the A&A committee have taken on another task which is no small feat in itself. She is leading the team to produce an updated statistical report dealing with institutional research material that is very valuable to accreditation purposes. While most people’s eyes would glaze over at the thought of work like this, Randi takes it all in stride and ensures that the college is up-to-date in this important area as well.

Her ability to work at these comprehensive tasks is one thing, but to do it all with a smile on her face and willingness to go above the call of duty is what is most impressive and what needs to be recognized, and all this while she teaches in the Science and Math Department.
