Congratulations to Regina Heller, an employee at Franklin Medical Group, for being named Kettering Physician Network’s February Employee of the Month!
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Regina was nominated by a fellow employee, and you can read the nomination story below:
“Regina recently received a call from one of our patients. The patient was home with her children and verbalized that she was having suicidal thoughts. Regina immediately sprung into action, speaking very calmly and compassionately with the patient. The patient had already called her spouse, who was on his way home. However, it would take a little while for him to get there. The patient admitted feeling shameful for her feelings, and Regina re-assured and commended the patient for reaching out for help. Regina stayed on the phone with the patient for more than 20 minutes, speaking with her gently and compassionately until the patient’s spouse arrived home, and she was certain that the patient and kids were safe and that the patient was on her way to the Emergency Department.”
