Help Greene Medical Foundation support patients facing cancer in Greene County by signing up for Circle of Victory on October 2.
The event includes a 5K course around Fairborn Community Park and the surrounding neighborhoods and concludes with a ceremony recognizing those who are currently living with cancer, remembering those who fought bravely but lost their battle, and celebrating those who have conquered it. A variety of vendors will also be available before and after the event.
The walk begins at 2 p.m., and on-site registration starts at noon. However, people who register before September 23 can take advantage of the discounted registration fee of $25 and are guaranteed their event t-shirt! Registration fees will increase to $30 after September 23.
Proceeds from the event provide financial assistance for patients facing cancer and receiving treatment at a Greene County Kettering Health Network facility. However, the assistance goes beyond underwriting treatment and also includes things like medication, wigs, prostheses, and other financial burdens carried by cancer patients and their families.
