These resources include books, podcasts, documentaries, movies, and TV shows that commemorate and encourage the study, observance, and celebration of the vital role women play in our lives.

  • Podcast-The Broad Experience  
    • The Broad Experience sparks candid conversations about women, men, careers, and success. They discuss the stuff everyone’s thinking about, but not always talking about. Leaves you feeling more enlightened, less alone. Hosted by journalist Ashley Milne-Tyte.
  • Book- Beginners Pluck by Liz Bohannon
    • Beginner’s Pluck is a guide to living with purpose, believing we were created on purpose. Far from the exhausting message of “hustle harder,” Liz invites us into the winsome adventure of building a life of passion, impact, and living into who we are created to be. 
  • Movie/TV- Wonder Woman

  • Documentary- Miss Representation 
    • Miss Representation explores the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America and challenges the media’s limited portrayal of what it means to be a powerful woman.

  • Children’s Book – Women in Science: 50 Fearless Pioneers Who Changed the World
    • A charmingly illustrated and educational book, New York Times best seller Women in Science highlights the contributions of 50 notable women to the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) from the ancient to the modern world. Full of striking, singular art, this fascinating collection also contains infographics about relevant topics such as lab equipment, rates of women currently working in STEM fields, and an illustrated scientific glossary. The trailblazing women profiled include well-known figures like primatologist Jane Goodall, as well as lesser-known pioneers such as Katherine Johnson, the African-American physicist and mathematician who calculated the trajectory of the 1969 Apollo 11 mission to the moon.
