  • Book- Joy & Strength by Candace Cameron Bure
    • Candace Cameron Bure works hard to juggle the day-to-day challenges of being a woman, a wife, a mom, a working mom, and most importantly, a daughter of God who longs to point others to Him. Her desire to live wisely and love well—a desire shared by the hearts of millions of women who have followed her career in the spotlight—has motivated Candace’s first-ever, 100-day devotional journal, which gives women of all ages a chance to pause, reflect, and explore the different ways they can press in to the joy and strength God makes available to us all each day. Writing in her signature open-hearted style, Candace warmly invites her spiritual sisters to join her in discovering how God can become every woman’s joy, every woman’s strength, no matter how hectic or hurried her life may be.
  • Movie/TV- The Iron Lady
    • In her twilight years, former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher (Meryl Streep) reflects on her life and career as she finally prepares to dispose of the belongings of her late husband, Denis (Jim Broadbent). Daughter of a Grantham grocer, she successfully broke through a double-paned glass ceiling of gender and class. Thatcher became the first female prime minister of the United Kingdom and remained as such for 11 consecutive years, until declining popularity forced her to resign.
