Congratulations to Roberta Dolph from 2S General Surgery at Kettering for being recognized as the hospital’s February Employee of the Month!
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Roberta was nominated by a fellow employee, and you can read the nomination story below:
“She is such a great person and I appreciate the care she gives to our patients. I heard a touching story about one of our patients who was home alone and had fallen. Her family in Canada had called to check on her with no response. The police entered her house and found the patient inside, unsure of how many days had passed. About four or five days after the patient was admitted, her family called to check on her and mentioned she had a cat that had been left alone. Roberta filled in as a cat sitter, not only taking care of the patient but her pet as well. I was so impressed that she was willing to give her time outside of work to our patients. I am thankful for all she does here at Kettering for our patients, families, and pets. She is a team player and a Kettering star.”
