Samantha Stephens Named Fort Hamilton Hospital’s March Employee of the Month

Read Time: 1 min

Congratulations to Samantha Stephens, who was named Fort Hamilton Hospital’s March Employee of the Month. Samantha works in the ICU at the hospital.

The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Molly was nominated by a fellow employee, and her nomination is as follows:

“Samantha shows compassion to all of her patients. When her patient is not doing well, she shows this empathy to the family as well. When her patient became an organ donor, she organized a walk of honor for the patient. Doing this is not an easy task and it’s even more difficult during the night shift. Sam was able to get staff from every department and unit to stand in the hallway as the patient was taken to the OR, outside of the ICU, the hall on the first floor, and into the OR. This action demonstrates our passion and commitment to honor and respect the lives of our patients.
