Kettering Health Network’s annual recognition event, An Evening with Our Network Stars, is coming November 6. We are excited to honor our exceptional performers and those who are celebrating milestone years of service.

What is the event?
An Evening with Our Network Stars is Kettering Health Network’s annual employee recognition event. This event celebrates employees who live the network’s mission, provide exceptional service, and have reached a milestone year of service. The evening includes a red-carpet entrance, heavy hors d’oeuvres, performances by Mac Powell and the Family Reunion, and door prize drawings.
Who is invited?
Employees who have reached a milestone year of service are invited as well as special award winners, honorees, and leaders of honorees.
Do I need to RSVP?
Yes, an RSVP is requested by October 9 for all attending the event. Attendees can register one of two ways. An RSVP card is included with all invitations, and completed cards can be mailed to the address on the envelope included with their invitation or turned into their local campus HR office. Online registration will be available soon. All employees that submit their RSVP by October 2 will be entered to win a $250 VISA gift card as an early bird prize.
How are the years of service calculated?
Employees are given one year of credit for every calendar year in which they work a minimum of 400 hours at a Kettering Health Network facility. To receive credit for their first year of hire, an employee must meet this requirement before May 1 in their year of hire.
Will I have to go up front?
Most people can stay in their seats for the event. Employees celebrating 40 or more years of service are called to the front as a group. Additional groups called to the front are Leader’s Choice Award winners, Living the Mission Award winners, and Ohio Hospital Association Health Care Worker of the Year Award nominees.
Do I get to bring a guest?
Yes! You are allowed to bring one guest to join you for the evening. If you are celebrating 40 or more years of service, you are entitled to a limousine for the evening and can bring up to seven guests.
Where do I park for the event?
Complimentary parking is available for all event attendees in the Arts Garage, located adjacent to the Schuster Performing Arts Center at 121 W. 2nd St., Dayton, OH 45402.
What is the dress/attire for the event?
While some employees choose to dress up, it is not required. Some employees come in business casual for the evening.
What are some of the door prizes?
There are door prize drawings throughout the event. The first one is a special drawing for everyone in their seat at 6 p.m. The grand prize this year is a trip to Walt Disney World.
How many people are being recognized?
This year we will be celebrating almost 1,300 employees.
What is the event schedule?
- 4:30 p.m. – Arrival and registration
- 5 p.m. – Reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres
- 6 p.m. – Service award program and concert
