Amanda Nolan is the new manager for Radiology at Kettering. Amanda has been with Kettering since August 2001. She has a bachelor’s degree in advanced imaging from Kettering College and is currently working on her MBA in Healthcare Management from Wright State. Amanda and her husband, Mike, have two sons Jacob and Zachary.

Patient Financial Services recently welcomed Robert Walters, new director of the Central Business Office for Hospital Billing. With more than 17 years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable management, Robert has rolled out several revenue cycle initiatives focused on automation, streamlining processes, and finding innovative ways to improve performance. He has developed training programs for every department in the revenue cycle.

Robert spent four years teaching before becoming a supervisor for a medical billing company. The last nine years, he worked with two different hospitals as a billing supervisor, and a revenue cycle analyst.

Max Grady is now administrative director for Radiology for the Kettering and Sycamore medical centers. He was the clinical director. Previously, Max served the Florida Hospital system and was the Radiology department chair at Kettering College. Max has demonstrated a patient care focus in radiation exposure safety and led the shared development of “one best practice” for radiology testing, procedures, and product and equipment solutions. Also, Max is also an accomplished event coordinator and breakfast chef.

Carrie Livesay is the new director for Laboratory Services and transitioning from her role as the Kettering Laboratory manager. She has been with the network for over 15 years. Carrie received her associate’s degree in medical laboratory technology from Kettering College and bachelors of science in clinical laboratory science from University of Cincinnati.

Carrie and her husband, Jeff, have two daughters (Allison and Samantha), and two grandchildren (Brooklyn and Jacob).

May 11 – 17 is National Nursing Home Week. Thank you to all staff that work in long term and post-acute skilled nursing care centers.

Congratulations to Sycamore MRI on receiving the American College of Radiology (ACR) CT Accreditation! ACR’s CT Accreditation Program requires meeting rigorous Medicare standards.
