Soin Employee Parking Tickets

Read Time: 1 min

Starting August 10, 2015, employees that are not parked in the designated employee parking spaces will receive a parking ticket. Parking is restricted for the 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. shifts Monday through Friday.

Below is a map of Soin’s parking lot. The highlighted areas show employee parking. Employees that are working 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday need to park in the designated employee parking area. There should be no employees parked in the Cancer Center parking spaces or in the first three rows Monday through Friday. The Cancer Center has patients coming in at 7:30 a.m. and no one should be in these spots.

Since the POB is closed on Saturday and Sunday, employees are allowed to park closer to the hospital on those days. If you are going to be leaving late Monday morning, make sure you are not in the Cancer Center parking.

For now, names will be taken to show who is not parking in the employee parking lot. Then, after August 10, warnings will not be given and tickets will be issued. These tickets are explained in the policy SE-KHN Parking and Enforcement. The fine is $10. If the ticket is not paid within 72 hours, the fine jumps to $20. After 30 days, the ticket is given to payroll and will be deducted from your check with an additional $5 fee. Repeat offenders may have their vehicles towed.

Stickers will be eventually be implemented for all employees. Further discussion on parking stickers will come in the near future. If you have any immediate questions, contact your supervisor or Sergeant Aaron Ledford from Campus Police.
