Soin’s South Tower Now Open

Read Time: 1 min

Two years after the construction plan was put in place, Soin Medical Center’s South Tower has officially been completed.

The network celebrated the opening of Soin Tower with a virtual ribbon cutting ceremony on September 3.

The new five-story, 170,000-square-foot tower allows the medical center to expand its previous services and increase its capacity.

The tower has increased space for the operating rooms, ICU, sterile processing, surgery prep/recovery, and it added a step-down unit. The space for PACU will also be increased by January 2021.

“Soin was always built with the future in mind,” said Rick Dodds, president of Soin Medical Center and Greene Memorial Hospital. “The loyalty and quality of our staff is what has driven the success here at Soin and allows us to create this expansion to meet these needs.”
