Congratulations to Carmen Boyle for being recognized as Southview Medical Center’s June DAISY Award winner! Carmen’s nomination came while she was working in Med Surg, though she has recently transitioned into a CSP Nursing Supervisor position.
The DAISY Award is given to nurses who demonstrate clinical skill and compassionate care. It was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes, who died of a disease attacking the immune system (DAISY). His family was awestruck by the care and compassion his nurses provided, so they established this award program. “Carmen is very polite, helpful, considerate, and respects her patients. She responded quickly and when I addressed my issues she did everything humanly possible to resolve my issues or problems. I strongly suggest her for a promotion. She has the best customer service relations with great attitude and respect. She is awesome!”
