Congratulations to Stephanie Austin, who was named Grandview Medical Center’s May Employee of the Month. Stephanie works in Preadmitting Testing at the hospital.
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Stephanie was nominated by a fellow employee, and you can read the nomination story below:
“She helps patients with every need they have. She is empathetic to their issues. She gets the patients to where they need to be in a timely manner so that all the patients testing can be done sooner than later. If she feels a patient is having a rough day, she is there with a joke, coffee, water, snack, or all of the above. Stephanie is someone who takes an interest in new employees and makes sure that they know what is happening and is never too busy to stop and help. Stephanie is someone who makes sure that everything is moving at a steady pace every day and comes to work ready to take on the world.”
