Congratulations to Steve Wilkerson, who was named Fort Hamilton Hospital’s December Employee of the Month! Steve works in Materials Distribution at the hospital.
The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Steve was nominated by a fellow employee, and you can read the nomination story below:
“I have witnessed Steve help or take a phone call even if he is ready to leave for the evening and personally take the caller whatever they need. Steve is always willing to stop and help people. He saw two older women wandering around trying to find their family in the ER and he made sure they got to their family. His positive attitude toward people everyday is an impact on all of us. He is just a subtle, positive reminder of how we should treat people.”
