Enjoy an evening of painting and stroke awareness activities. A mini-health fair including blood pressure screenings, diabetes education display, nutrition education, exercise education demos (including Gentle Yoga), and more will be offered.
Jody Short, DO, will lead a Q & A session about stroke symptoms, risk factors, and treatment. Then, participate in an approximately 45 minutes painting instruction. Every participant will receive an easel, brushes, paints, and apron to use that night and will go home with an 8.5 x 11 gallery wrapped canvas.
The first 32 who qualify and register for the event receive a free stroke screening voucher.
