Situation:
The hospital located on Wright Patterson Air Force Base is temporarily drawing down their inpatient capacity due to staffing. Kettering Health has been asked to accept patients above what the base can provide care for. Maximum estimates are approximately 4-6 patients per day.
Mission:
The Operations Command Center will coordinate patient transfer from Wright Patterson Air Force Base as needed to Kettering Health facilities with open beds. Hospitals are asked to accept these patients as we would a transfer from another Kettering Health facility.
Execution:
Wright Patterson Air Force Base providers will coordinate with the Operations Command Center transfer call center when they require a bed for admission.
Admin/Logistics:
Wright Patterson Air Force Base will transport the patient to the accepting Kettering Health facility for care.
