What is Take 5?
Significant change can come from the power of something small. Like a spark starting a fire, sometimes in order to reset and recharge, we simply need to take one step forward.
Kettering Health would like to encourage you to take the first step forward by spending 5 minutes each shift to reset and find some peace through the Take 5 initiative.
Amidst the busyness of this world and the pressures that exist today, we know it can be difficult to make the time to care for yourself. We also know that health and wellness are built through small daily practices. That’s what Take 5 is—permission to invest in your health and wellness each shift.
To take five minutes to do something that will help you relax and feel better.
To take five minutes to plan something that will support you and those you love.
To take five minutes to sit back, intentionally hit pause, and take a few moments for yourself.
