Theophilos Auguste-Johnson Named Sycamore Medical Center’s February Employee of the Month

Read Time: 1 min

Congratulations to Theophilos Auguste-Johnson, who was named Sycamore Medical Center’s February Employee of the Month. Theophilos works in CT.

The Employee of the Month Award recognizes the people you love to work with. These winners show exceptional performance as defined by the network’s Standards of Behavior, live out the network’s values, and demonstrate the healing presence practices outlined in Called to Care. Theophilos was nominated by a co-worker, and you can read the nomination story below:

“Theo was scanning an outpatient and noticed that the patient had a major issue. He quickly called the nursing supervisor and told her that he didn’t feel comfortable sending the patient home. The patient was sent to the ED for evaluation where he began having A-fib with RVR and then brief periods of asystole. If this patient had gone home he may not be alive today. The patient was transferred to ICU at Kettering and without Theo’s quick thinking and caring spirit this patient may not have made it. Theo quickly got the patient to the ED where he immediately received treatment.”
