The final beam will be placed in the Kettering Cancer Center, and the network is holding a Topping Out Ceremony to celebrate. The event is on December 9 at 1 p.m. and will take place on the Kettering Medical Center campus.
Once completed, the building is planning to host a variety of services for patients:

- Dedicated Cancer Laboratory
- Clinical treatment trials
- Support services for patients and families
- Boutique offering specific products for cancer patients
- Cafe with menu tailored to cancer patients’ nutritional needs
