Touching Moments Brings Christmas Cheer

Read Time: 1 min

The Christmas season is a joyous occasion but can also be difficult for many. Some families struggle on a daily basis to meet basic needs, let alone during the holiday season. But thanks to Touching Moments and the Grandview and Southview family, this Christmas, the holiday season was a little better for all involved.

This is the fourth year of participation for both Grandview and Southview medical centers, and this year had the largest response to date. Overall, 16 families were adopted and several hundred presents were donated! We had a multitude of departments adopt one of our 16 families to provide presents for them during this Christmas season.

Touching Moments is a faith-based, 501 (c)(3) non-profit, public charitable organization that is committed to providing assistance to families with issues of terminal health complications, domestic violence, and homelessness. As an organization, they help under privileged families and youth within the community. They are committed to helping these individuals reach their full potential and become vital members of their community. Motivational seminars, job enhancement skill classes, and mentorship programs are just a few ways in which they look to give back.

Thank you again to all who participated! If you are looking to reach out to this organization with a contribution, or to find ways to get involved their contact information is listed below:
