Greene Medical Foundation is teaming up with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) for their December 6 concerts at Wright State University’s Nutter Center.
“For the last two years, we’ve partnered with TSO for tickets to sell to benefit the Foundation, and ultimately Greene Memorial and Soin,” shared Jeff Brock, president of Greene Medical Foundation. “Because of this relationship and being among the few organizations partnering with them, TSO approached us to be their charity of choice for the 3 p.m. matinee show added to the Dayton visit. It was an easy answer to give.”
As charity of choice, the foundation appears in all local advertising, and TSO will provide proceeds from every ticket sold for the 3 p.m. concert to the foundation. “TSO rarely chooses their own charity during a concert tour, so we are privileged. Since this is a brand new show, they anticipate more demand. We think the attendance at the matinee will be pretty high,” Jeff continued.
While tickets are available through the Nutter Center and other ticket outlets, the foundation is selling matinee tickets for premium seats at a discounted price of $63.50. They are also offering a few at $100 each which includes a pre-concert reception with all of the musicians and vocalists of TSO. “We’ve also asked that a few of the TSO members come to Soin, during their visit to Dayton, and provide music for patients and staff,” Jeff said.
