Verify Your Dependents’ Eligibility–Action Needed

Read Time: 1 min

Kettering Health Network is conducting a Dependent Eligibility Verification as part of its efforts to ensure employees have affordable options for healthcare coverage. Covering ineligible dependents increases costs, and those costs are shared by employees through medical premiums.

Your action will be required if you are covering one or more dependents under the Kettering Health Network health plan.  If you don’t respond to verify your dependents, it may result in termination of coverage for your dependents.

What to expect

You will be receiving a mailing from ConSova at your address on record containing important information about the upcoming verification. ConSova will mail an introduction and initial letter around February 10. Upon receipt of information from ConSova, you will need to review your list of dependents to ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements, and then follow the instructions provided to submit the required documents for dependent eligibility verification.

The deadline to submit verification is March 9. Reminder letters will come around March 17. If an employee does not verify dependents by April 13, ConSova will send a letter notifying them of dependents who will be dropped. Along the way, ConSova will send confirmation letters when they receive documentation.

Please direct questions about this verification process to ConSova using information provided in the upcoming mailing.
