The emergency restrictions placed on Albuterol Metered Dose Inhalers (MDIs) have been lifted due to improved albuterol MDI inventory levels and availability. Practitioners may resume utilizing albuterol MDIs on all patients, regardless of COVID PUI status, as clinically appropriate.
Shared canister procedures should be followed per policy to continue to reserve stock.
