Vendors and Supply Partners Update

Read Time: 1 min

Kettering Health Network began opening services on May 4, 2020. Although we are starting to return our services to normal, we will not be returning to normal vendor access levels.

Vendor access to any and all facilities will remain restricted to essential services only:

  • Operating room and procedural areas (cath lab and angio lab) case coverage – only if the director of the procedural area and physician provider determine that being on-site is needed. Once on-site, vendors may be asked to remain outside the room until it is determined that in-room support is needed.
  • Medline and lab distributors
  • Office supply deliveries
  • Couriers/delivery drivers
  • Others to be determined by facility on an “as needed” basis (approved by a member of the network executive council)

All non-essential vendors should continue to conduct business via phone/Webex for meetings and sales calls for the foreseeable future. Sales calls will only be approved on a critical as-needed basis and as per our vendor policy “cold calls” are not permitted.

If you are a vendor or contractor who has recently traveled or has been in contact with someone who is either suspected to have or confirmed to have COVID-19, please refrain from being on-site until cleared. If this will impact procedural case coverage, please contact the director of the procedural area or your Supply Chain point of contact immediately.

Following the recommended guidelines, all persons entering the Kettering Health Network facilities will be screened and have their temperature taken prior to entry into the building. Please plan your time appropriately to allow time for this screening.

Thank you as always for your continued support of these restrictions as we try to re-open our facilities in a way that provides the safest environment for our patients and employees.
