Wish there was more time in the day to get exercise?

Now, it’s easier to make time for a quick walk with Walk for Health. Kettering Health Network is encouraging employees, students, and volunteers to “step into” a healthier lifestyle.

 

Each of the hospital campuses have new or updated walking paths to help improve health and gain the many benefits of a new walking program.

Some of the benefits of walking are:

  • Reduced blood cholesterol
  • Lowered blood pressure
  • Increased cardiovascular endurance
  • Reduced stress
  • Increased energy

Plus, walking can help you boost bone strength and burn calories.

Live or Work in Kettering
The indoor walking track at the Kettering Recreation Complex or Kettering Fitness and Wellness Center is free of charge.
